003. Portals & Keys
The existence of multiple worlds raises an obvious question: how is travel between them achieved?
The first clues emerged from Morozov’s folio. The documents themselves had somehow crossed between worlds. Morozov had done the same.
Attention quickly turned to the structure known as the Soma Cube.
Its unusual design, combined with Morozov’s disappearance from Earth-One and subsequent appearance on Earth-Three, suggested that the structure functioned as a means of interdimensional transport.
Whether the Cube generated a portal directly or merely facilitated one remains unknown. Some theories propose that it acted as a form of energy collection system, harnessing solar power to create a temporary passage between worlds. No supporting evidence has yet been recovered.

More recent documents have provided a clearer picture.
Evidence now suggests that each world contains at least one permanent portal structure. Three portals are currently known, each associated with a corresponding key.
The portals themselves are constructed from stone and share a common visual language. Geometric forms and stepped architectural motifs appear throughout their design. While broadly similar in scale, each portal possesses a unique configuration.
Current evidence indicates that portals provide access between worlds, though the exact relationship between individual portals remains uncertain.
The keys are also formed from stone and employ the same stepped geometry. Their precise function remains unclear, but possession of a key appears necessary for portal use. Several documents imply that different keys provide access to different destinations.
The repeated stepped motifs found on both portals and keys bear a striking resemblance to forms present throughout ancient architecture on Earth, including step pyramids, ziggurats and stepwells.
No direct connection has yet been established.
Nevertheless, the possibility remains difficult to dismiss.
